The first hummingbird to visit our yard this year showed up Wednesday night. These creatures, particularly when dining at our honeysuckle vine, mesmerize me every time I see one.
As for the photos, I used my Fuji 60mm prime macro lens on my Fuji X-T20. Shots were handheld and I manually adjusted shutter speed and aperture. I let the camera adjust for ISO up to 1600. For post processing, I imported RAW files into Lightroom CC and primarily applied Fuji profiles to the RAW files and some cropping. Overall, I was pleased that the 60mm “macro” lens enabled me to capture these images while sitting on the patio enthralled by the visitor.
