It’s an interesting exercise to walk around our yard in winter months to observe changes. Yesterday, I found this “fish tail” that had fallen from a fish wind chime onto a stone tabletop that sits next to our wood swing.
I appreciated the placement of the tail on the stone, the stone’s crack, the dried worm, and the roundish piece of plant matter.
The yard and garden can seem depressing in these grayscale winter months. But a closer look provides glimpses of intrigue and inspiration.
